The Alleghany County GOP will hold its Annual County Convention during the monthly meeting on March 7th at 6:00 pm at the VFW. Missy Weaver, Alleghany County Schools Superintendent, will be the guest speaker at the monthly meeting.
The four county precincts which include Cherry Lane, Gap Civil, Glade Creek and Prathers Creek will meet at 5:00 pm on March 7th at the VFW. The precincts will elect delegates to seat at the county convention. The county convention delegates will elect delegates to the district convention in April and the state convention in May.
